Fixing Our Mistakes

FromKOGV Gambling
ReferenceKG/FIXING-OUR-MISTAKE

We get things wrong sometimes. Game rules change, operators rewrite their terms, and we misread things like anyone else. The fix is what counts. This page explains it.

How to report an error

Email notes@kogv-systemet.com or use the contact page. Helpful details:

  • The article title or address.
  • The sentence, figure or table row you think is wrong.
  • What you think it should say, and where you saw that.

Certainty is not required. "This looks off" is enough to start a check.

How we check it

  1. The person who did not write the article takes the report.
  2. They go back to the source: the rules card, the paytable, the promotion terms or the market rules.
  3. If a sum is involved, they redo it from scratch.
  4. If the source itself has changed since we wrote the piece, we note the change.

What we change

ProblemOur fix
Typo or broken internal linkFix it quietly.
Wrong figure, rule or definitionCorrect it and add a short note at the end of the article.
Outdated informationUpdate it and change the modified date.
A misleading sectionRewrite the section and explain the change in a note.

We do not delete an article to hide an error. If a piece cannot be fixed, we say why.

Things we treat as urgent

  • Anything that could lead a reader to think a win is likely or guaranteed.
  • Wrong information about age limits or safety tools.
  • A description of a scam that could help someone fall for it.

These go to the front of the queue.

Credit where it is due

If your report leads to a change, we say thanks in the reply. We do not print reader names on the page unless you ask us to.

When we disagree

Sometimes a report turns out to be a difference of opinion rather than an error. We will tell you that, and why. If you still think we are wrong, write back. We would rather argue it out than leave a reader unconvinced.

A short note is enough.

Under the hood

From rumour to checked article

The same four stages for every piece we publish.

  1. Get the document

Paytable, rules card, market rules or promotion terms. Not the banner, not the forum thread.

  2. Run the sums

Odds become chances, caps become loss thresholds, wagering becomes total stake. Examples are labelled as examples.

  3. Hunt the catch

What costs the most, what gets missed, what nudges you to play longer. Each answer goes in the text.

  4. A teammate reads it cold

A teammate cuts hype and anything that reads like a promise, then checks the 18+ and local-rules line.
