Which Games Are Worth It?

Casinos have so many games that it’s hard to know where to start. Instead of sitting down in front of a brightly lit slot machine, first, you should consider your odds. Which games are you more likely to win? Which games aren’t worth your time? When you’re getting ready to start playing, you should also consider how much money you’d like to invest in the game. It’s best to bet consistently and get in as many rounds as possible. Place smaller bets, and you’ll stay in the game longer.

Blackjack

This game is played one on one with the dealer and is a very popular non gamstop casino game. If the table is popular, the dealer will be playing with other patrons simultaneously. This gives you a slight edge.

The goal of blackjack is to make it as close as possible to 21 without going over. If you go over, you lose. If the dealer goes over, they lose. You have the best odds with Blackjack.

Roulette

A roulette wheel typically has 38 numbered slots, alternating red and black. The wheel will also likely have a few green slots for 0 and 00. There are a lot of different approaches to betting when it comes to roulette. There isn’t much use to using more complicated betting methods as the probability of the next spin isn’t dependent on the spin prior, this is where a lot of people end up losing money. The safest bet is on either red or black, this is almost a 50/50 chance of winning (slightly less than 50 due to the aforementioned green slots). As you get more skilled at roulette you can take bigger risks by betting on a specific numbered slot, but this lowers your odds significantly.

Craps

This game is played with dice. The main player is the shooter. The shooter is the person rolling the dice, you have the option to shoot when playing craps and can win this way. If you’re not shooting, you can bet on the outcome of the shooter’s dice roll. The first roll is made with two dice and is called “coming out”. If you’re the shooter, when you’re coming out, you’re looking for a natural roll of 7 or 11. These rolls are both considered a win, and you’ll get to roll again. If the shooter rolls a 2, 3, or a 12, they lose the round, but they can roll again. If the roll results in a number not previously mentioned, the number is kept but the dice are rolled again with the hopes of reaching the exact same sum that was rolled previously. If during that last roll the number 7 comes up, you’re out. If you reach the exact sum of the roll previous, you win.

If shooting is an intimidating thought, you can bet on the shooter’s rolls. This is where the best odds are, betting on whether or not the Shooter will win. You can bet more specifically on how they’ll win, the payout will be greater, but the odds will be lower.

Now that you know the odds and where to start, you’re ready to get out there and place those bets!
